WebOct 10, 2024 · The water should be at the mid-level or higher in order for the pump to work properly. If it is not, the circulation system could take in air via the skimmer. If too much air goes in, the pump will not prime. Take off the cover. Look for the gasket and take it off as well. Look to see if it is in good working order. WebThe three way valve at the front of the pump, open it all the way so “off” points away from the pump. Make sure your lid oring is clean and lubed, along with where it sits on the pump. Make sure the suction side union is tight. If you do all that and you still get the priming error, reset and stop the pump.
